I got some ruff news about my health the other day — but don't count me out yet!

A few weeks ago I had a respiratory distress episode, and since then I've been coughing an awful lot. So mama took me to my pawsome vet, Dr. Jenny at Millcreek Animal Hospital to see what was the matter.

Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with a collapsing trachea. Surgery is not an option at this time due to the collapse being located at the point where my trachea enters my chest. Dr. Jenny tried to reassure mama that this is manageable with medications but she is so sad and worried about me. The condition will never go away so it is something I will have for the rest of my life.

However, I have faith my zest for life and wuff for all my patients will carry me through!
